Tickets to Drowsy Chaperone

I would just like to boast that I now have tickets to see The Drowsy Chaperone on Broadway. On May 6, I will be sitting in the second row of the Marquis Theatre in New York watching Sutton Foster sing and dance her way across the stage. "Huzzah!", is really all I have to say. Also in the show is Georgia Engel (Georgette from The Mary Tyler Moore Show); so this evening seems to be very promising.

For those who are wondering what Chaperone is about, I can do no better than to quote from the official website: "If you've ever sat in a darkened theatre and thought, 'Dear Lord in heaven, please let it be good,' this is the show for you. It all begins when a die-hard musical-theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love."

The show is being called a "Valentine" to Musical Theatre lovers; and as for me, it's been far too long since I last received a candy heart, so I'm looking forward to this whole-heartedly.
