Liza with a what?

While doing a random Google search on Liza Minnelli, this photo came up. At first I thought that it was a pic of Liza wearing her famous Halsten created "red dress"; but to my surprise, it was in fact a Japanese actress by the name of Jun Shibuki who played Miss Minnelli in the Japanese production of The Boy From Oz.

I read the accompanying interview with the show's producers and was shocked when they said something to the effect that people in Japan have never heard of Liza Minnelli or Judy Garland. Never heard of Judy?! Never heard of Liza?! Aren't there any gay people over there? What is the world coming to when there is a young gay boy not being raised on The Wizard of Oz, or singing along with "Cabaret"? Apparently Japan is just not gay enough. What a shame. And 007 spent all that time over there.
