Maggie The Cat

Since I am driving myself crazy rehearsing for two shows at once, chances are I won't be posting for a little while. But I would like to do a quick intro on the new addition in my life....
We adopted a cat from the Humane Society and brought her home to hug and squeeze like "Elmira" from Tiny Toons. She is almost a year old and was brought in to the shelter as a stray (on my birthday no less- which I took as an omen). She is absolutley wonderful and it's amazing how much enjoyment she has already brought into our lives. After almost a week of calling her simply, "Cat" we have decided on the name Maggie. She looks and acts like a Maggie (anyone who has ever known a Maggie will understand). It's wonderful to come home from a long, tiring rehearsal to a smiling feline (I'm not crazy just sentimental). Whoever said that cats are good for mental health certainly had a point.
I'm afraid that I may, very well, grow old and become one of those crazy "cat people". I'll have more cats than Old Possum.
