Halloween.... alas....

My luck.... for the first time since 2001 (where I dressed up as Emma Peel from The Avengers) I have a totally "kick-ass" (if you'll excuse the phrase) costume. I was going to dress up as Johnny Depp to Katie's Dianne Wiest from Edward Scissorhands. I had the tight black clothes, I had the wig, I had the makeup, I even had the damn scissorhands (which were a pain in the ass to make, I'd like to add). I was actually looking forward to this Halloween. But now, as my luck came through as it always does, I am holed up in my apartment with what is either the flu or food poisoning....Errrgh.

So now, rather than parading around with near-lethal weapons strapped to my hands, I am going to be watching Corpse Bride between trips to the toilet to vomit. Do I know how to party-hearty or what?
