Christmas in Hong Kong

Now that A Christmas Carol is finally over I have been focusing my attention on my pending trip to Hong Kong. My fiancee, for the past five months, has been teaching theatre over there and decided that he wanted me to celebrate Christmas and New Years with him. Christmas in China... a holiday dream come true. What child doesn't wish for the day when they too can be opening Christmas presents in a Communist country?

I actually am looking forward to it. Just the potential culture shock alone is exciting... though I've been warned against attending the Bird Market if you're sensitive to animal well fare... but the Flower Market seems safe. I fly out of JFK the day after tomorrow and will be thinking of you all as I cross the Pacific... Hong Kong, Ho!
