New Shoes

I just received my new costume shoes for A Chorus Line. They are black full sole jazz shoes. #1... I hate dancing in full sole jazz shoes- you can't point your foot in full sole jazz shoes... I feel very restricted, but because of my song I needed something sturdier than your standard jazz shoe, so I'm already in poor spirits. #2... they are so goddamned tight my foot is numb. I've been wearing them around my apartment trying to break them in but my legs have fallen asleep. I'm used to tight dance shoes but this is ridiculous. And best of all tomorrow, I have to start wearing them in rehearsal... by the time this show closes I am going to be one mass of pain... Now I remember why I stopped dancing.
