Summer Auditions
The next couple weeks will be dedicated to finding a summer job. I've been auditioning for Summer Stock theatres in the New York / Massachusetts area and am hoping that at least one of the auditions pays off. Having given up hope of hearing anything from Barrington Stage Company, I'm setting my sites at some other options. In particular: The Theatre Barn in New Lebanon, New York (who is doing Little Shop of Horrors- and I would give my left leg to play "Seymour") and Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, New York (who amoung other shows is doing Oklahoma!- and I would give my right leg to play "Will Parker"). A Chorus Line closes in mid-May and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown doesn't go into rehearsal until September, so I have three whole months to fill.... and three months of rent to pay. Ah, the joys of theatre.
