Another Musical Attrocity By Philip Glass

An otherwise fabulous film was marred by the obnoxious, repetitious, and intrusive score of Philip Glass. Notes On A Scandal was incredibly intriguing with brilliant performances by Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett (but that's no surprise there), but unfortunately every time Glass' music would enter the scene I would be taken out of the film and be made to feel like I was watching a murder mystery in the flavor of Miss Marple.
When are producers going to realize that Philip Glass weakens the films he scores?
Sorry, just an irate tirade.
